中心在图数据挖掘领域有着深厚的工作基础。在社交网络相关的研究中，从局部社团检测的视角出发，提出了基于局部谱的社团检测系列算法，为大规模网络的社区发现研究提供了新的求解途径，相关工作发表在WWW、ICDM、TKDD等顶级国际会议和期刊上。近年来随着深度学习技术发展迅速，中心致力于结合图神经网络等技术设计新型的自适应大规模图数据建模方法，增强模型对不同属性网络数据的信息提取能力，以更好地完成各类图数据挖掘任务，如社团检测、节点分类、链路预测、图分类等，相关工作发表于ICDM等顶级国际会议和期刊上。在知识图谱建模与推理方面，我们基于深度强化学习提出了时序知识图谱的推理与预测模型，在自然语言处理的顶会EMNLP上发表了相关论文。
